Time of the Season - Embellished Canvas Print

Inspired by a glass art original, Time of the Season is canvas print created with images of *The Gathering. This limited edition series of 11 prints only, are hand embellished so each will be slightly different due to the nature of handwork. Size: 24" x  36 x 1.5"

Time of the Season: 
"There will come a day when the people will know the truth in their hearts. We will rise up in Love, and even the Oppressors will melt into love. We are ONE energy field of pure potentiality, like sparks of light in a star. each with our own structure. Like an atom in a larger being. Connected and influenced by each other yet still in charge of our own destiny. there will always be contrast. It doesn’t have to be violence vs peace. There are many layers in between for learning and growth that breed desire for new experience’s free from suffering and fear. "

*The Gathering is an abstract representation created in fused glass. The Sangoma people held gatherings under the light of the full moon where elders and healers would share messages with the people.  I didn’t know this was what I was making when I made it. I was just inspired to create this design. When it was complete, the name and story came to me. The red circles are the backs of the heads of the elders, the white lines, their robes and the ovals in the darkness, the heads of the people listening. 'Sangoma' comes from the word sanguine, meaning my blood, my people, my tribe.
