Paintings

Jeweliyana draws inspiration from her home turf, Alberta, Canada. She can't help but want to paint big skies, rolling prairies and the fabulous rocky mountains. These are often the backdrop for her other favorite things, trees and flowers. In her own words:

I am an intuitive artist following the call as it comes. More often than not, it’s nature that inspires the next painting. Innocence and curiosity lead to depth and complexity. Bold translucent colors and texture are my jam. Hidden innuendos and capturing some of the magical details without full blown realism is my favorite part of the making process. I create with the intention that  “Art is a gift, meant to nurture the soul, whether you’re viewing it or creating it”
