You Are Beautiful Infinite Love 8x24 - Cyanotype Mixed Media Painting

Messages From Mother Nature Series  was created WITH Mother Nature herself.
She lays feathers on the trails I walk and created the leaves which are hand selected and carefully laid on a bed of cyanotype ink in a dark room. Next they are placed outside where the sun works its magic (the ink turns from lime to navy!) This sets the foundation for these mixed media pieces. The blueprints are washed, dried, burnt and mounted on gold birch where they're embellished with acrylics. It's a very intuitive process that inspires different  messages which are subtly imbued in to each one.
