Camping 101 - Mountain Landscape Painting with Teepees

Being a Calgarian, visiting the Elbow River Camp at Stampede and seeing the teepees and dances was one of my favorite summer memories. It's a wonderful part of the culture and scenery I grew up around. There is no specific symbolism on the teepees because it is not meant to offend, rather to acknowledge that our indigenous brothers and sisters were here long before we were.  I love seeing teepees where ever they are and think of how fun it was camping in them the one time I got to experience that.
