Himalayan Blue Poppies

Sooooo detailed these beauties are. Each layer of each poppy is free hand cut, chipped, ground, cut again, painted and then carved before it even get to the glass base for positioning. Each leaf and stem is then cut n fit and painted and carved as well. Once piece  is assembled it's then painted with frit (glass like sand) and then fired and framed. A true labour of love.  

7" x 5" textured fused glass poppies in a 6"x 8" frame and base. Base is aprx 10" x 3"
