This tree painting is an original artwork painted in acrylic on birch panel using brush and palette knife technique. Inspired by an image of trees I photographed on a winter walk near Sandy Beach YYC. I didn't paint them until the following summer, hence the green. The two trees together felt like a couple which is why I added the hearts.
