Collection: Messages from Mother Nature

Messages From Mother Nature Series  was created WITH Mother Nature Herself. She lays feathers on the trails I walk and created beautiful shaped leaves which are hand selected and carefully laid on a bed of cyanotype ink in a dark room. Next they are placed outside to let the sun work its magic (It turns from lime green to  navy blue!) This sets the foundation for these mixed media pieces. The blueprints are washed, dried and mounted on board where they're embellished with acrylics, inks and whatever else I am guided to use to bring out the message that each piece inspires. Enjoy!
